retaining walls, and is part of the Bucaramanga-Barrancabermeja-Yond\u00f3 highway, which will enhance connections from the east to the country's most important oil production centers.<\/p><p>The project also includes rehabilitation activities, road improvement, and new construction to create a corridor of approximately 152 kilometers, of which 95 kilometers will have dual carriageways (two lanes in each direction). The infrastructure will feature two tunnels (5.96 kilometers in total) and 34 viaducts.
