the northwest coast of Peru, the installation of a demineralisation plant is proposed, as well as a water desalination plant, together forming the water treatment plant. Associated with this treatment plant, the seawater intake and discharge pipes are designed, at a rate of 12.5 m \u00b3\/s.<\/p><p>The water intake system consists of two High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) and reinforced concrete pipes, which are responsible for conducting the seawater to the pump chamber.
