studies to support the development of a 5 MTPA LNG plant and associated infrastructure on the southern coast of Timor-Leste. This LNG facility is designed to process treated feed gas extracted from the Greater Sunrise and Troubador fields, located about 200 km south of Timor-Leste in the Timor Sea. An ultra-deepwater export pipeline would connect the offshore production facilities to the onshore LNG plant, covering a distance of approximately 250 km.\n\nTranslated with DeepL.com (free version<\/p><p>Recent developments have given further impetus to the project, following the ratification of a Maritime Boundary Treaty between Australia and East Timor and the acquisition by GoTL of a 57% interest in the Greater Sunrise field.
