An iconic hotel, which has been frequented by the likes of Charles Chaplin. It was originally called the Hotel Aletti and was built between 1926 and 1930 in the Art Deco style. Initially it also included a cinema and the municipal casino. Subsequently it has undergone various alterations that have altered its original character.

The building occupies an entire city block and has a total built area of approximately 21,300 m², with a total of 155 rooms. Located in the heart of the city centre, it is close to places of interest such as Emir Abdelkader Square, the Government Palace and the Post Office.
