This is a basic project for the marine facilities for the construction of a natural gas liquefaction plant in the vicinity of the city of Tombak, in the Republic of Iran, in the Persian Gulf area.

The basic study focuses on the design of the offshore facilities, comprising 2+2 berths for the unloading of LNG carriers of 266,000 m³ (QMAX type) and one berth for sulphur-bearing solid bulk carriers of 12,000 dwt, including the necessary elements for ship-to-shore operations.
