The expansion of the port of Estepona involves the action on 24 new hectares of surface, of which 6 correspond to sheltered water sheet, which will allow the mooring of 456 new pleasure boats between 10 and 30 m in length.

The project consisted of the development, at the basic project level, of the works comprising the expansion of the port with 1,140 m of breakwaters, 1,100 m of docks and 1,400 m of floating pontoons. Other works carried out are the technical and economic justification of the action, the environmental impact study, as well as the urban and territorial planning.
