The construction of a desalination plant in the port of Mucuripe, Brazil, is being considered and Proes is carrying out the necessary studies for the marine works of the desalination plant: feasibility study, dilution study, and brine dispersion study.

Once the possible scenarios have been analyzed and the design scenarios have been established, the brine discharge is modeled for different alternatives using the brIHne-Jet-Spreading tool.
