The aim of the Internal Emergency or Self-Protection Plan is to establish the organic and functional framework foreseen for the port of Alcoa, in San Ciprián, in order to prevent and control the risks to goods and people, and to provide an adequate response to the different emergency situations in the port area under the responsibility of Alúmina Española, S.A.

The Plan deals with the identification and evaluation of the risks that the port facility may suffer, the actions and measures necessary for their prevention and control, as well as the protection measures and actions to be taken in the event of an emergency.
