The seawater collection system for the Al Khafji desalination plant (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia) consists of a collection tower, installed on the seabed, leading the water through 6.4 km of 1600 mm GRP pipe to the pumping chamber.

The construction project defines both the underwater pipeline and the collection tower, and the procedures necessary for its installation, as well as the basic design and the calculations used for it.
