LNG del Plata terminal consultancy services in Punta Sayago, Uruguay

This is the proposal for a free-standing facility off Punta Sayago, some six miles upstream of the port of Montevideo. It comprises a sediment containment dyke arranged along three alignments, which protects the mooring pits and, partially, the manoeuvring area from the strong sediment dynamics.

The breakwaters, planned according to a typology of loose materials, are planned in the proposal as vertical breakwaters executed by means of caissons. Likewise, the elements necessary to configure the LNG reception and regasification terminal are supported by these elements.
