Road drainage was designed using a combination of storm sewers, cross culverts, underdrains and roadside ditches. The drainage system was designed in accordance with standards and reference documents between HM The Queen by Right of Canada, and the 407 East Development Group General Partnership, and was designed to have a minimum capacity to carry the 10-year design storm without entering traffic lanes.
