The purpose of the study is to propose, analyze, and evaluate different alternatives for locating a future LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) terminal at the site, in order to confirm its viability in accordance with current international standards.
The first group of alternatives considers the possibility of a configuration in the first phase with two independent terminals: one for LNG and one for LPG. This would be expanded in the second phase with another LNG terminal. The second group of alternatives, in the first phase, consists of a combined LNG+LPG terminal with a single berth, which could be expanded in the second phase with an additional LNG terminal.
