Turbidity studies for offshore wind farms in the province of Cádiz

The implementation, operation and decommissioning of an offshore wind farm requires a number of construction activities that can lead to a local increase in the concentration of suspended solids in the water.

This project analysed these activities and their potential consequences on the marine environment in order to propose the necessary preventive, corrective and/or compensatory measures. The main starting point was the knowledge of the environmental management of dredging and sediment dumping operations.
