Proes is participating in the study of alternatives in the bidding phase for the consortium formed by Macquarie Infrastructure and Kiewit Development.

Following the award of the contract to the consortium, Proes is participating in the drafting of the construction project for the new Goethals Bridge, which will link Staten Island to the mainland in New York City. This new bridge replaces the existing one, built in 1928.

Significant data: the future bridge has a cable-stayed typology with a central span of about 700 feet (215 m), with two decks connected transversely by struts sharing tie pylons.
