Hydrological and hydraulic study in Villanueva de Perales, Madrid.

The main objective of this study is the hydrological and hydraulic analysis for the determination of the 500-year flood level of the Chorrera de Peral Merino riverbed as it passes through the property located at Calle Julio Álvarez, s/n, UE 5, in Villanueva de Perales (Madrid), in order to develop the urban planning currently in force in this locality.

With this objective in mind, flood flows and flood plains have been studied for return periods of 5, 100 and 500 years, both in current and future situations. Based on hydraulic modeling, these flows are converted into flood zone limits and floodplains for the two phases of the study.
