Extension of the intake and discharge system of the LNG terminal in the port of Sines, Portugal

The expansion of the existing Sines LNG terminal, increased gas storage capacity, vaporisation throughput, transport capacity and improved system reliability.

For this purpose, and due to the increase in this capacity, a new system of collection (of seawater), supply and discharge was planned, which includes the installation of two more steamers (in addition to the current five), as well as the long-term plan to add two more.
