Drainage network design for Matthew's Green School in Wokingham, UK.

50 years

return period for the study

The analysis of the rainwater drainage network has been conducted using numerical simulation methods, employing the SWMM (Storm Water Management Model) program developed by the EPA, the United States Environmental Protection Agency. It is a dynamic simulation rainfall model, which allows the execution of both static and transient events over an extended period.

The return period considered for this study was 50 years, and the rainfall events had a duration of 5 minutes.

Location Wokingham, Berkshire, UK

Date: 2017

Scope of the project: Design of the drainage network

Significant data: The rainfall data used for the design of the drainage network has been obtained according to the BS EN 752:2008 Regulation.
