Studies on the adaptation of the port of Pecem in Brazil for LNG vessel operation

The project aims to ensure the viability of a planned LNG terminal in Puerto Pecem, Brazil, and the adaptation of the port to it.

First of all, the limit operating conditions (wind, tides, etc.) are assessed, followed by the recommended manoeuvres and the need for tugboats. Finally, emergency situations are analysed, and the bases for operating procedures are established.
