SH-288 highway structural extension project in Houston, Texas, USA

This is a project for the extension of the structure, in response to an increase in the loads acting on the median of the SH-288 highway in Houston, Texas. Due to the expected increase in traffic capacity on the highway, it is necessary to design extensions to the existing bridges, as well as to relocate the piers, designing new systems capable of bridging the loads to their new positions.

All of this must be resolved by means of construction processes that have the least possible impact on current traffic, which is a determining factor in this project.
