Construction project to extend I-66 from the Beltway capital (I-495) to Gainesville (U.S. Route 29) to include three non-tolled general purpose lanes and two express lanes in each direction with a state-of-the-art electronic open toll system.

Project of the most singular structures of Segment 1 included in the Transform I-66 Outside Beltway project for Ferrovial America (FAM), developed in collaboration with the American engineering firm Janssen and Spaans.
