The project consists of the tendering of drainage works and structures on the I-66 highway. The project envisages the remodelling of a section of the highway in order to improve mobility on the interstate highway, reduce travel time and increase road safety. Work is scheduled to begin in 2017 and the concession is estimated to last no more than 40 years.

Also, according to data from the Virginia Department of Transportation, the public contribution will be more than 500 million dollars.
