Bidding project for a section of highway in Antioquia, Colombia

The main objective of the project is to create a road interconnection between the city of Medellín and the country's main road concessions, which will in turn connect it to the major commercial exchange centers such as the Caribbean coast, the Pacific coast, as well as the Magdalena River.

The works subject to this concession consist of improving the existing roadway and constructing a second one between the Occidente tunnel and Santa Fe de Antioquia, as well as various interventions on the road connecting Bolombolo and Santa Fe de Antioquia. The typical cross-section is defined in accordance with the INVIAS Geometric Design Manual, taking into account the road, the morphological characteristics of the terrain, and the design speed.
