Proes has carried out the basic and detailed engineering of the marine works for the Ghubrah III desalination plant. The intake system consists of two Ø 2000 mm FRP pipes with a water intake tower located at a depth of -10.5 meters (MSL) at the shoreline. The length of each intake pipeline is 1,246 meters.

The discharge systems include two Ø 1600 mm FRP pipes. The brine is discharged through a diffuser system located at approximately -7.75 meters (MSL) depth. The length of the discharge pipelines is 1,493.92 meters.
