Offshore LNG terminal at Zaule, Muggia Bay, Italy

The construction and development of an LNG reception and regasification plant are being proposed at the Port of Trieste, Zaule, Italy. The regasification plant requires a marine LNG unloading terminal where cargo transfer operations from the ships will take place.

As an integrated part of the overall project, Proes is responsible for the construction project related to the containment barrier for the proper fill material for the formation of the port area on reclaimed land. Additionally, Proes designed the water intake structure for the process water.
