Tideway is enhancing London's sewer system to cope with its growing population. The 25 km tunnel will intercept, store, and ultimately transport wastewater away from the River Thames.

The works included, among other things, the design of a prefabricated solution for the eastern section of the culvert inside the cofferdam. This section had to be floating to be positioned in its final location. Other tasks involved the design of the sheet piling capable of withstanding tidal ranges of 16 meters.
