The project developed by Proes has focused on analyzing variants of the breakwater dike of the new fishing port of Tangier, Morocco, in relation to the components that make up the protection mantle.

The variants have involved replacing the protection layers of BCR blocks at the dike head and tetrapods on the outer slope of the dike trunk with cubipods or acropods.
